Preparing for new Knuffel

Hi everyone!
Right now we are preparing the new Knuffel and a whole new Knuffel system that will include many new features.
The Knuffel will be very different from the ones we have now and in order to save us some server space we want to do some cleaning up on unused Knuffel.
Therefore, in about a week, we will delete all Knuffel that were purchased on Gaia that have not been fed or played with for one year! This is, because we have several thousand (!) Knuffel in our database that are not being used by their owners at all.
So, don't worry, if you are actually using your Knuffel you don't have to worry about it at all. If you want to keep your Gaia Knuffel make sure to feed it at least once within the upcoming week or it will be deleted.
The deleting will include all Knuffel that are not connected to your Knuffel account, this means all free Knuffel, Knuffel purchased on Gaia whether through the former shop we used to have there or in auctions on Gaia.
It will not, in any way, affect Knuffel bought in Knufftropolis on our site.

Edit: Please don't get all excited about the new Knuffel yet. It's a lot of work and still a long way to go.

Okay, so I'm confused. I got my first ever Knuffel on Gaia. I just got the link to him back yesterday and I've been playing with/feeding him like my life depends on it. Since he isn't connected to my account, will get get deleted?

Simple answer is No.
Only Gaia Knuffel that have basically been abandoned and not been played with during last year will be deleted,
if you have played with yours recently it will be safe.
I highly recommend to all those with Gaia Knuffel who want to keep them to go ahead and feed them and play with them, just to be on the safe side.

Yaya!~ Can't wait to see what teh new knuffels will be like!~
So this applys to free knuffel aswell?-? (ones that are not purchased from the shop or gaia.)

well although i know Firn said don't get all excited about knuffles but i cant help it i really want a knuffel since i came the kingdom !!
