I think about this a lot.
I've come and gone quite frequently in the past eight years
(more than that, since I had an account before this one & gaia knuffel)
but I always come back because there's a certain charm to find here.
Firn puts so much work into the NPCS, the items, the knuffel,
and it's so inspiring to see how her art has changed, tbh!
She and Starkad have put so much work into events
and different features across the site over the past decade.
Like, I took for granted how awesome the digging + alchemy feature is!
I love the materials and quests, because I can do it at my own pace,
in whatever order I want, and it encourages us to interact with each other for material trade.
There are some things, like more games and the battle system, that would be great to have,
but honestly we have so many wonderful things here already!
I'm super thankful. <3
I hope that Firn and Starkad stay inspired to work on KofK,
because it's really a fun, charming, unique site for people to gather.
I've met people on here that, even though we aren't close, have impacted me greatly. <:
That includes Firn herself! Big inspiration for my art.
Also, just to add to the Firn love, it's awesome how much she interacts
with the community and addresses feedback and concerns.
ANYWAY.
I'm just feeling a lot of affection for KofK right now.
Thought I'd say a piece and this seemed like a good place to say it.
