Hey there!
I already posted this in the knuffel forum, but I think althought it is about knuffel it was the wrong place for the topic, so I repost here.

I was thinking about the costs of the wild knuffels, as you may know they start at 2500 and get expensiv at the beginning and cheaper in the end, down to 1000 food points.

And you get 50% of the costs.

What if we change the costs directly to 1000 fp - from beginning to end - and change the income to 75% instead 50%.

Maybe more will buy wild knuffels they normally wouldnt buy, because reasons, just because of the idea as by the look or style.
The most wait till its about to end when its the cheapest, and then maybe miss the wild out.

If we would have them cost the same all the time, its no matter if you are online once in a month / week / day... You can buy it without fearing to miss it.

Just a thought.
I know many of you creators sell a lot in the very beginning when their wilds get approved, and you may dislike it, but please think about it.^^

As I said it is just a thought that ran through my head since a few days.

I think the idea is interesting in principle, but I'm not sure if it would have the effect you hope for.
I personally sometimes buy WK I'm not overly fond of (as in, I like the idea but not the execution or vice versa) when I happen to see them at a cheap price. If all Knuffel were the same price all the time, I wouldn't see them as a special opportunity for being this cheap - so I might actually be more picky about which I end up buying.
Just my thoughts though, maybe other people work differently there :)
(Also, I'm viewing this strictly from a consumer perspective - I've never made a wild knuffel and have no idea how sales develop over the time they're available at all)

I get your points.
Seen as a consumer I sometimes miss out the ones I wanted when they are cheap.

As an artist I dont care about how much I earn, I just want to share my idea.

But I also think there might be a lots of people that dont want to spend more money on a wild knuff that can nothing after being maxed out, other than the regular ones.

Although you get free items, but they dont sell good as I see it.

Yeah, I know what you mean, I've missed some I kinda wanted as well. But then again, if I see them at a higher price and really want them, it's my choice to buy them at that price to make sure I don't miss out or gamble on them getting cheaper and me looking in time (or setting some kind of reminder). So I've personally never felt really bad about missing one, since I always took that risk knowingly.

I know what you mean about the knuffel items and their relative worth compared to regulars and I do agree with that. I'm very rarely willing to spend over 2k food on a wild, except if I really love the design and need to have it.

Or we could say they start at 1500 get a bit higher with the price and then sink down to 1000.

Maybe that sounds better for everyone.

I don't know if changing the price is going to help anything. If we make them cheaper. Then the pay off to the artist is less. People already don't make new wild Knuffel and if the pay off is less, why bother even more.

I do have a new wild knuffel in works, just haven't had a lot of free time. I put them out half to share my work and to make FPs. I also buy Wild Knuffel to collect them, but I never have time to use them. I always buy when they come out because I'm lazy and don't want to wait for them cheaper. Also to support artist making more of them.

Maybe the price will make people buy them more, but I don't think this is a good way to fix what's going on.

I dont have lots of free time either.

But I also do draw wilds just for fun, I dont care about the pay off.

I appreciate your opinion and I am excited to see your new wild knuffel.^^
And I also know many artist do it for having a few fp more.

Toxic, I saw some of you WK recently - and I noticed you don't allow previewing the stages. Have you tried both?
Just for me, personally, I almost never buy a WK if I can't see the stages. I've been wondering if more people think like that and you could also increase sales by allowing it.
I usually look at the Knuffel to see if it looks potentially interesting, but I only really think about if I want it once I look at the stages.
I would be interested to know if creators who tried both see a difference in sales?

Thats what I did.
Testing it.
And I didnt allowed previews to find out if you sell less, but the main buyer is my sister, so its no effect for me at all.

But yeah the most buy when they see the stages.
And the next wildies will have stage prevs again.

But as I said the most of mine buys my sister, although she doesnt have to.
She loves them.

Doesnt help with the statistics.^^
Someone whos more popular, could test it more efficent.

I wonder about another aspect of this; the wild knuffels are a bit of a food sink for the site, yes?
If 75% of the funds go back to the creator, that is less food disappearing from the system, so there would then be food inflation issues until we found more food sinks.
I don't know how much of an effect it would have, practically speaking, but I do wonder about it!

I want to buy or trade for these knuffels:
Earth Gen 18, Light Gen 19, Fire Gen 21, Air/Light/Water Gen 22, Light Gen 23, Earth/Light Gen 25, Darkness Gen 26.
Please PM me if you can help!
