Just wondering if we could add the date an item leaves the Treasure Trove on each item in the shop.
This would be so helpful as i currently have to go through the Announcements thread to find the original post for this information.
But still have the post in announcements of when it is actually leaving to as a final reminder too.

What do you think?

Please and thank you.

Absolutely backing this up after seeing a reminder saying a set is going to leave on Tuesday and it's already gone on Monday.
Seems the reminders are of little help if they show the wrong date. :}

I am afraid sets have to be taken out of the Treasure Trove manually and that happens when starkad finds the time for it so whether I write a date in the announcement or the shop would not make a difference in that case. Also, Monday for one person might already be Tuesday for a different person. Right now it's Tuesday in Germany, but still Monday in Honolulu, for example. There is a time difference of almost half a day between Germany and most US states, so having the date be the same for everyone is impossible. :qmeh:

(I am not against the idea of adding the dates to the shop, just saying that in this particular case it would not have made any difference. Also, if you missed out on a set that was taken out of the Treasure Trove by a day you can send me a PM and I can trade you the set)

I wonder if there's a way you could program the feature to be automatic and have a set date and time? Have a timer set to keeping sets for 3 months and at rollover the item is removed and replaced?

You could also start putting the timezone in your announcements so that people know around when to look out for the items being removed?

I can add it to the endless list of stuff starkad needs to code. The list holds enough stuff for several years work though, so don't hold your breath on this happening anytime soon, especially since there are always announcements about this so it's a low-priorty feature, unlike some other things (mobile version!!!) that are really urgent.
