I hope I remember correctly qnd dont say something stupid, but I think Firn once said everything gets and updated version, but she has a dated plan when to make what, because there are so many shops that need regular fixes in shading, style and coloring.

So I guess yes there will be a better version of the dress, but not soooo soon.

I would love it if there were new colors of the Midnight Moon Background in the Purikura shop! I would like to use it to make a new avatar but i don't have many items that go well with purple/blue

i would like to suggest something that may be a little too much, but would there be any way to bring some old sets back? there are so many items (besides event items) that are sooo difficult or even impossible to get nowadays, since a lot of people that may have them and could trade them are inactive now.
for example i would have loved to trade or buy the takeshita set from someone but i have never seen anyone using the items, or selling them.
it could be nice to bring them back somehow?

I am not doing it anymore, because at some point the demand was so low/people didn't bid much on the items, so it did not work as a food sink anymore.

What if Wild knuffels would randomly give out older items? Or some other feature, like lottery or chests or something? Although that sounds like a lot of work to implement (and it's more of a feature than item suggestion, so this post might be off topic, for what I'm genuinely sorry if it is ).

There is no real demand for older items and an over-supply. Newer items are much rarer than old items.
In the marketplace old items either don't sell at all, or for lower prices than much newer items, so I am not sure what good that would do apart from devaluing these items even further.
