WILD KNUFFEL TUTORIAL

My goal with this tutorial is to help people having a hard time getting knuffel Accepted, or make better Knuffel in general. If there is anything you would like me to expand on or want me to add to this tutorial, please let me know I would love to help!

SETTING UP YOUR KNUFFEL

What I find is best to do is set up your base on the top layer and sketch underneath it. I sketch each stage on its own layer so I can turn them on or off to see if its flowing right or maybe what I need to add. Every stage change is its own color so I can see how many changes are being made. You can see in the example below.



You need to remember your Knuffel needs 3 MAJOR changes! These are thing that are obvious changes. These can be clothing changes ether vest becomes Jaket, or Jacket gets new color change. Hair gets longer or bigger. Hair Clip getting ribbons, growing horns, tails, wings. and so on. Small changes may not count as an acceptable change, this would include any and all small changes that would not be as noticeable. These can include rings, bracelet, necklaces, slight skin change, blush. This seems to be a recurring thing people get stuck on so I have come up with examples to point these things out to you.


Major Changes: Ear moved up, Flower bud, Shirt changed, Belt, and also green color theme added.


Small Changes: Smile, Fingerless gloves (these could be a major change, but they are hard to see on his skin so I counted them as a small change.), and shoes.



Major Changes: Things added to hat, eyes open (some people try to make eyes Closed on one stage, to half open, to full open; doing so may not be as drastic of a change and end up being a Small Change.), neck thingy, and bigger better belt.


Small Changes: Earrings, bracelet and tail rings.

As you can see I tend to have more Major Changes to my Knuffels. I feel like more the better, but you should not have TOO many to where it looks like a whole new Knuffel in another outfit, then it may not be accepted.

Some people view the full Knuffel stages as small images to see how odious the stage changes are. I think Firn even checks this when viewing Knuffels. If you see drastic changes on all stages in this view you should be perfectly fine for approval.
