I think there are a lot of ideas still not thought of. So yeah, it might be more challenging now that there are more of them, but it's certainly not impossible to think of something original as a few people say.

@Merry: I just read that the luck pig is a German/Austrian/English thing. Mainly used on new year you can see pigs as a symbol of luck everywhere. Often with a clover in their mouth.

Yeah of course you could also always add a random theme to the magpie theme and -bam- original. Just the colour scheme is a little limiting. So most will stay wilth simply black&white (+maybe blue shine) If you throw in too many colours it loses the magpie feeling I think.

Indeed, take Beryl for example. Gorgeous Knuffel, beautiful colors, but more like a parakeet or parrot, no longer a magpie :(

I wanted to wait until I visit my friend at her birthday to get the cockatiel feathers which is in three weeks. If that's too late I can visit her earlier or send them later to you.

Well her birthday is on the 23rd, but I guess she can wait. She used to give me 'vouchers' for my birthday too. :p

See it uses European feature. I think a European theme for a European bird would be cool like Lolita or Victorian. If Merry make one she should try for a European theme =D

Lolita may have it's roots in Europe, but it's mostly swallowed up by Japan by now :')
I already made two maggies, Corvidae Pica Knuffel might be considered a little EGL. And lolita in vector may not be so easy, with all the lace and stuff :p

Other than that, I don't really know what kind of European themes could be used?
Apart from the fact that the Magpie isn't merely European, but inhabits most parts of the world :p
