New colors can be really annoying! I can hardly work them out.
But all will pass, and we'll be glad we got them as soon as we have enough to make them work.

Actually I think that's what I'm gonna spend my donuts in.
Visery Hair in new colors, because they will fill a huge gap in my inventory. They may not be my fave colors, but of the old ones I have plenty stuff already and wigs in the newer ones will come very handy.

That's a good idea, although the Vinerys hair aren't as versatile due to the sad eyebrows. I mean, I've been craving more such wigs, but it's not everybody's style. Some items can cover that, though.
Anyways, there's no such thing as enough items in new colors. I just bought the Vinerys hair in Bright Berry even though I know I don't use that color much, but... what if I want to one day, and I'll have nothing to use? What then?! XD

I think the same about Soft Ruby, and here I was today all grumpy because I could not find any colors in that color for my current avatar

But, yeah, really, some of these new colors are not my thing, but I would have never thought that Teal (for example) would and now I'm quite fond of it.
That's why I need a bunch of items in newer colors, so I can figure out how to make them work, which color combinations are good, etc.

Teal grew in me because it was often paired with gold (which I love) so I had to get items in that colours and got used to it, although I didn't like it at first
Now I'm kinda obsessed with ginger although I have almost nothing in that colour and can't make a proper avatar :( I'm so sad I missed the last halloween the ginger items were pretty

It looks great with other bright colors, Gold as you said, and also Crimson.

I only have 4 items in Ginger, haven't tried them yet because I have no idea what to do with them...
In my case there are a bunch of colors in that situation.
Time will tell. As I get more items I might develop a taste for them, or not.

Teal to me looks best with Plum and Gray White. But Gold works too

Ginger is the same as Tea Rose for me. They're gorgeous colors, but they're mostly in event items which I don't wear that often and there's not enough items in those colors for me to wear. So I'm both sad and grumpy about it.

Same goes with Cyber Yellow, Leaf Green, Ocher, they all grew on me with time and I used to hate them. So now I don't have that many items with them. Cyber Yellow especially.

Ginger and Tea Rose I don't know well enough, I still gotta figure them out.
Maybe it's time to change my avatar. AGAIN

I've never been a fan of Cyber Yellow or Ocher.
I guess I find them quite dull.
They would work well together, probably, but never cared to give a try.

They actually work with toned down but more interesting colors, Rose Gold look good with just about anything in my opinion. But I'm biased, because that color is probably my favorite.
Ocher looks nice with Lime green.
