On the one fish forum I frequent, someone thought they were buying ghost shrimp. out of 10 shrimp, one of them was an amano! xD

Speaking of amano.. THEY ARRIVED TODAY! I'm drip acclimating them now ovo

I saw them, they’re adorable! Btw, what’s the difference between ghost shrimp and amano?

Ghost Shrimp:
Can breed in fresh water
Aggressive towards other shrimp and fish
Don't have patterns

Amano:
Need brackish/salt water for larvae to survive to adulthood
Only aggressive with food
Have Dash/Dot patterns depending on gender
Slightly bigger
Comes from Asia

Ahh I see. They both sound pretty aggressive lol.

one attacks its fellow shrimp and fish, the other runs away and hides with the food.. and plays tug of war with it.

I wouldn't really say amano attack each other.. if one just pokes another, that other one freaks out and swims off just like my one cat does with the other cats. =w= the whole "EWW IT TOUCHED ME!!" stuff x'D

And I just had a mild panic attack which you might see on discord messages lol. I couldn’t get into kofk and wondered why. I think they stopped allowing people to use the original kofk.de web address. I still used that since my bookmarks was using it and it would automatically redirect me to kingdomofknuffel.com. But not anymore lol.

I never noticed that they stopped using the de address.. I liked that address, it was short and easy to put into a mobile web browser >A<
