Has anyone purchased Sword and Shield expansion pass? How did you like it?
Crown Tundra was released few days ago and so far it was quite pleasing experience. In general, moving away from typical "fight 8 gym leaders" formula has gotten old for me and I am so pleased they use those expansions to explore different stories and small new features.

I haven't and I don't think I will be because I feel like it's such a shitty move on their end by adding an "expansion pass" that people have to pay for especially since the game itself is 60 bucks originally.

I didn't buy them, but I think I will one day, because I really, really like the basic game so far. So it would be great if anyone has some more thoughts to share on the subject :mcglee:

However, I agree with @amalath, they are just milking us really hard with how overpriced it is. There is only one way to stop this DLC blight - to not buy them. And that's what I usually do... Unless I value the content enough to pay the price.

Eventually I always end up buying Pokemon stuff, because I love the francise... but the fact that I have to pay extra for the DLCs and Nintendo Switch Online (for trading/playing with friends/my almost complete collection on PokemonHome) is really annoying.
I really liked the expansion pass stories, legendary Pokemon and new regions though!
