Oh I heard Dark Knight was such a good story the woman who wrote it got promoted to write Endwalker! I want to try it just for that reason alone lol.

Bard is still my fave at the moment, I'm also wearing the Amon set so it looks just ridiculous.

I've just arrived in Ishgard! The banquet scene was awful :mccry:

Natsuko Ishikawa is a very good writer. She focuses more on camaraderie compared to the other writers which get you emotionally invested in the characters. She also was the head writer for Shadowbringers so for her to write in Endwalker was kind of a blessing.

If you like bard you might also like Machinist. Also a range type but more of a focus on DPS than support.

The banquet was such a turning point in the story. I thought it was a nice transition from one expansion to the other. Sadly, your wol will have some ptsd from that scene and while you walk around in Ul'dah the guards give you different dialogue.

Now that I've unlocked Ishgard, I'm gonna finish getting Warrior to 60, then start on Dark Knight. The warrior story isn't great, but I do love Curious Gorge :mclol:

The story was so good! I was so frustrated with certain characters, but also just found it such great writing - I'm really looking forward to continuing but don't want to burn out so have been taking it slow.

It had potential... the story for warrior just felt off compared to the abilities.

If you don't plan on subbing or buying the other expansions I would take it slow. Can always do side content if you haven't touched the Bahamut Trials yet. Can also suffer for horse mounts if you haven't done those yet either. Also, if you do want to relive moments of the story you can always play in new game+.
