Mynah: not surprising lol. I think old domains expire after a certain time but before they do, you can still use them and they’d just redirect you to the new/affiliated URL. The reason the old kofk URL stopped working is probably because the URL had expired and it would instead give you an error page lol.

Moi: yeah same, I had the old URL bookmarked and I’d just use that bookmark each time. The URL changed last year after the site wide maintenance in May. However, I think they must’ve paid for the original domain name/URL for the year and it wouldn’t expire until the following year. A few days ago must’ve been the expiry date which was why it could no longer be used and why we got error messages lol.

I didn’t even read it I think. I KNEW about the site maint and the URL change but I just considered the whole “expiring URL” thing to be common sense lol. Maybe I’m just weird that way lol.
