I took ibuprofen. And the tylenol cold also helped.

lol I mean, that was pretty common in the past.

Well, I'm glad you got rid of it :3

Dying from infections u8?
People used to die from a lot of things in the past.
Especially childbirth.

lol and it came back yesterday. orz I went back to the ER today and they discovered an infection so I get to take antibiotics. Hopefully I'll feel better soon because I'm going stir crazy cooped up in my house.

Yeah, dying from infection from small wounds. I think childbirth is still pretty risky. There were 31 maternal deaths in Canada as recent as 2018. CDC website says there are about 700 deaths each year due to pregnancy or delivery complications.

>XD
That happened in my Bitlife game last night...
I got high blood pressure, finally cured it, was happy and the next year I got it back uB<
I got high blood pressure like 10 times and it took forever to get rid of it just for it to come back >8u

That's good, though. That you got medicine 8D

Now take that number and multiply it by....I dunno...100 at least?
They didn't have the kind of medical equipment we have now.
Women can still suffer from bloodloss and stuff, though.
To be honest, childbirth always scared me.
It seems so painful and horrific.
Something to be avoided u8

Damn, what were you eating on that life to keep getting high blood pressure? Or were you continually taking off meds as soon as it stabilized? I think blood pressure is something that's permanent once you have it and there's no cure; just management.

Yeah. I feel fit as a fiddle today! Watch me relapse as soon as I say that. orz

Yeah, I wasn't saying that it wasn't a big problem in the past; just saying it's still a pretty big problem today, albeit not to the same scale.

I was doing nothing \8u/
I'd talk to my loved ones to keep on good terms and working then BAM HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE.
Then it'd take like 10 years to cure it and the next year I'd get it back >8u

You gotta knock on wood now 8u

I actually find medical and psychological treatments from the past interesting.
Incidentally I also like learning about torture devices and methods.

It is random. But that's never happened. It was really obnoxious.
I tried to cure it over and over and over and over and it cost me like $2,000 each attempt then I finally got rid of it only to get it right back >__>

I remember one time, it was either my game or someone else's, it said something like "Your 6 year old niece died when she drove off a cliff while texting and driving!"
WHAT o___O

I'm glad we live in a time where mental health is better understood and there's legit ways to treat it.
Not like put someone in a contraption and flail them around in hopes to unscramble their brain.
Or lock them in a room their whole life because you're embarrassed of them.

I don't want it to happen ever again >8u

It is silly. But it's entertaining.
Like when someone hits you in the game, it's randomized.
So it can be like "She pinched your ovary".
Like...WHAT? HOW?

That reminds me. This game I play, I've been posting on the website for it.
Apparently a developer for the game dismissed color blindness because people kept asking him about when the game will have a mode for people with color blindness and people got really pissed off and are demanding he be fired because it was kind of a shitty response.
Then someone was like "Oh my God you're all precious little snowflakes!"
When someone dismisses an illness or disability of yours and you get upset, it's not being a snowflake.
It's stupid, it's ignorant and it's disrespectful.
I don't think he meant to dismiss it, he was just tired of a million people asking - I don't think he should be fired.
But it irks me when people don't understand something, say something stupid, then feel like the victim when people get upset because you say stupid things.

My whole life I've been called lazy because of my depression and anxiety.
I've been told "You have no reason to be depressed! People have it way worse than you! Life's not so bad so stop crying!" and it irks me because they don't know what they're talking about.
I'm not to blame for being upset by their stupidity Bu
