US and UK English aren't really that different though, when it comes down to it. I write in both for different clients and on average I usually only have to pay attention to one or two words in 500. The biggest culprits are the z/s and removal of a u. For actual words that are used differently there's only a handful, and one would have thought that wouldn't be a problem with sign language so much.
In fact there's probably the same level of words used differently US v UK as there are UK South vs UK North. Ask a room full of people whether it's a bap or a bun and you'll likely start a brawl, with bams and barms and all the rest weighing in for good measure.

I don't have any particular usage to motivate me either, whereas for Korean I'm more motivated because my work does bring me into contact with Korean people from time to time.
I think I had a bit of a breakthrough this week on Korean actually. I've been hammering the lessons because of disappointment with the Oscars haha. I have started to be able to put together longer sentences now and retain more actual words.
Hey, I'm a native speaker of Korean, though I have the vocabulary of an 8-year old. Let me know if I can help in anyway.

I have a material trading thread that lists all the mats that I own. I can help you with the quantity, but please don't make me go through it myself to figure out which of the mats you need are in my possession.

Haha, I can understand that. My skype handle is the same as here so add me if you ever want to try out conversing in Korean.

I think I just fell in love with the new item.
I used all the donuts I had saved up and bought everything but I don't regret it at all. It's adorable.

Well, you still have time, it's not scheduled to go away before 2022.
