I've never had a bad hangover. Just a feeling lke I was still a bit tipsy, like dizziness but nothing special, I could function just fine. I think I'm either lucky or I haven't really gone too far yet. I don't really want to find out which one it is XD

It's no wonder. I think you mentioned you were close with her? Was she sick for a while or was it a sudden death? You don't have to reply if you don't want to.
*hugs* :qh:

Pretty close. We hung out with her pretty often. Went to movies and out to eat. Played games at her house.

She was sick for a long time but it wasn't a deadly sick? Like we just thought her health was going to be really bad for a long time. But then we found out she had cancer and after that she only lived for like 2-3 weeks at most. It was super sudden to us.

*hugs back* :qh: :qh:

Aw, Light, that's so rough -I'm sorry for you guys' loss. :mcgloom: Why is everyone dying recently? This is a really schrecklich trend.

Where'd that tell-a-joke thread go? I rather desperately need something cheerful now.

I'm sorry for your loss too, Light! Cancer sucks. Especially when it comes out of nowhere like that.

Thanks guys. I appreciate it.

I don't know. We have a friend who's mom has cancer, she's in her last days too. Like she knew about her cancer for at least a couple years but now she can't fight it anymore.

I've never heard the word schrecklich before. Thanks for the new vocab.

A tell a joke thread would be really cool. lol. I don't remember seeing one.

Yeah, it was really unexpected and sudden. I've had experience with cancer before and it's always been a kind of long drawn out process. I have heard of people dying quickly from it but I feel like most of the time I hear those stories it's people who hadn't gone to the doctor in quite some time.

Sandy went to the doctor a lot in her last couple years.

Yeah, my grandpa was one of the people who just refused to go to the doctor until the cancer was in like stage 4 I think.
Bf's mom also refused to go, but also she has been diagnosed before and it was in remission. So I guess she shrugged it off and then she was too scared to go. She also kind of passed away suddenly.

It's really stupid and unfair. Especially when it happens so fast :mcgloom:

Was there a tell-a-joke thread? :mcconf:

There WAS.

Only it was called the "make me laugh" thread. It's here in the same forum, too.
