I see :mcconf:

By the way, before the Lava Lamps were a thing, did you spend much time feeding your Knuffel?

I haven't really changed the amount I spend with my knuffels. I only have one lava lamp so it doesn't affect the majority of them.

(I'm curious if this has actually changed in answer for anyone since the new updates with the Caravan and the Lost Items?)

Yeah, I'm definitely here more when the caravan is (and talk more, and look at areas of the forums that normally I stay out of), but it's also more, I dunno, stressful for me? So I actively tend to stay quiet for a while when it leaves, just rest and recover a little.

(Hey, sun's up! Yay!)

yeah, it's definitely stressful :mcconf: after a while i'm just sick of posting, but i want those items. but it's mixed feelings. like i think of KofK as this quiet forest glade with the odd clearing and as you move through the dappled sunlight you occasionally meet someone. it's very peaceful and time isn't hurried or packed. (except for when a bid is ending soon :qt:)

whereas when the caravan comes, it's fun, because it's like a fair, a lot of bustle and going to a booth for awesome stuff. but like, imagine doing fair things for several days as opposed to a single day's outing. tiring.

actually, if the caravan was around for a few days longer, it's make things much less stressful. (but then again, all the saving-time-tech in RL for example was supposed to give us more time, but we have less time instead because we expect more out of the time we have and are expected to get more out of the time we have. so if the caravan was around for longer it might not improve things because we'd just set bigger goals.

but if it was such that anyone could reasonably get one of each item without totally chatting their teeth off, just the ambitious who want to profit from selling off extras could put in the extra effort, and it wouldn't be so stressful.)

i've actually thought about doing a feedback thread about this, but i haven't come across others with similar opinions, although to be fair i haven't brought it up so i don't really have an idea how people think about this.
what do you think?

I haven't changed my habits with the new changes, but there are just a lot more people around to reply to, so I can actually post as much as I want rather than being restricted XD

I think the caravan is around for the right amount of time. The point is to reward people who put the effort in, after all. The more easy it gets, the less point there would be of having it in the first place.
