Phones

I hate phones.
I like them in the sense you can call someone far away and talk to loved ones and order things, but using the phone makes me anxious too, so I prefer to not use one.

I don't have a cell phone, which might be shocking.
I can't afford one and if I could - I have no one to call .__.
I'd probably use it for emergencies and trying to find someone in the store when we get separated.
Someone told me I need a phone so I can listen to music when I'm out, but when I'm out - I try to stay alert because I really don't trust people and am paranoid. Listening to music would distract me.

I have a house phone and I HATE that phone. Especially since these people call constantly and it's a waste of time and annoying.
Sometimes I just want to smash the phone with a hammer 8u
I told my sister my own personal hell would be constant phone ringing and I couldn't stop it Bu

My bestie uses her phone constantly and she loves to accessorize it and it looks pretty and cute, but still seems like a hassle xD;

Do you like phones? Do you have a cell phone? Do you spend a lot of time on phones?

I have a cell phone, but I'm not that into it. I mostly just use it to talk to my parents.

Not sure if it's a city person/white collar job thing but everyone here in Sydney is on their phone. We're addicted. Rarely you see a person pay attention to their surroundings on public transport or even when walking. They'll be watching shows, listening to music, messaging etc.

I listen to podcasts on my way to work.
I also use my phone for work, I have clients call me and vice versa.
My partner and I use it to exchange memes and discuss dinner on the go.
I use it to check public transport timetables (it's real time data) and I map myself using the GPS on my phone. I sometimes even order lunch on my phone.
It's essential in my life. Would be difficult to do my job without it.

I will say the home phone is very agitating. Nothing good comes out of picking it up. It's usually telemarketing and scams >_>

I hate using phones too because it's so hard to type on them.
I can type up a paragraph and a minute at the most with the keyboard to the computer, but it takes sooooo long for me to type two sentences on a phone xD
I also miss the letters and hit the wrong letters and then have to go back <<
I just sit there and cuss the whole time 8u

I took my aunt's phone to my ultrasound appointment and I watched stuff on it while I waited.
That I wouldn't mind. Waiting for a doctor or something is boring, so having a phone to watch stuff is great.

My mom annoys me sometimes because she's so focused on her phone xD

Me: -telling a whole story- \8u/
Mom: Uh-huh. Yeah. Wow. U8 -texting-
Me: >>....If I confessed to a murder right now you wouldn't even hear me, would you?
Mom: -texting- Probably not. U8
Me: >>

I hate typing on phones too. I'm not good with tiny buttons. I text through my computer, which I love, but I don't really text anyone other than my mother. It's still good though because my mother is the type of person to keep you on the phone for 2 hours, so it's much better to be able to text a little bit here and there than to sit on the phone for that long!

I'm actually a lot like you. I do not own a cell at all and never will. There's a land line in the house that isn't mine but that I use when I have to do the doctor thing or phoning in refills for my prescriptions to be picked up.

I keep the ringer turned off on my personal phone. The line in general has an answering service attached so we filter calls that way and 99% of the time they're not for me anyhow.

It is frustrating typing on the phone sometimes but I use a smart phone so autocorrect generally gets it right except f*ck always turns into duck >_>;

It's like having a mini computer in your pocket. Very convenient :3
There are some countries that rely heavily on mobile phones for trade and these people don't even own computers/laptops.

I put my cards on my phone and I pay with my phone as well. I rarely take my wallet with me. It's always face ID, tap and pay. Go.
