.... they have antivenom shots you can carry in your pocket?
Wow, am I out of touch.
Last I heard, for a snakebite you slashed open the bite and let it bleed freely and constricted the up-stream blood vessels slightly to slow its spread....

I'm thinking, with my out-dated info, they'd both die and I'd be up on charges.
:(

But, yeah, given an antivenom shot, let's see. Dad's pretty healthy, my best friend has some serious underlying health issues which mean she shouldn't be out hiking to begin with... even with the shot she probably wouldn't make it. (Seriously she should NOT be out there), so I'd probably give it to my father and hope that the ensuing life-long therapy would help me deal with the guilt of watching her die. What a terrible choice.

I would save my dad.
In my opinion love for a family member can be deeper than any friend

It's interesting to me, to see how even the split is!
I keep thinking one answer will pull ahead, and then, nope, that doesn't last.

Wow, this is tough. I'd probably save my friend if there was really no way to save them both, like giving one the shot and trying to suck out the venom from the other's wound.

I don't know who I'd pick other than not me. It'd be my dad or my friend....if my dad was alive.

Well, my father's been dead for a LONG time and I don't really have any friends. I would probably be out hiking with other family members then. I can't imagine having to choose between them. I can't even do it in my head.
