my Dad likes music from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. There's a few songs I like, but largely my music interests are extremely different from his. I listen to a broad range of metal, rock, music in other languages, a little rap, and classical. Usually when i drive and he's in my vehicle with me i try to let him choose the music or play the softer pop music i have so he doesn't get annoyed haha :mcheh:

I don't know what my father likes. He never talks about music and doesn't listen to much. Sometimes he'll turn on the radio in the car, but even that's rare, and it doesn't seem like he's even really paying attention to it. My mother likes Cher, Elton John, and Meatloaf. I like folk, opera, and 40s music.

My mother grew up with music always in her home and she made sure it was the same for me and my siblings. She's a music clectic, but she has her preferences in rock, jazz, and the blues. I'm a music clectic too, though my preferences lean towards Rock, metal, and a bit of country.

Both of my parents like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. They will go to their concerts in any city.

I've noticed as I've gotten older my music taste has converged pretty strongly with stuff my parents used to listen to when I was a young kid. Not even the stuff they like now, specifically what I remember hearing when I was like, 7 years old-ish. Jamiroquai, Three Days Grace, that one Carrie Underwood song, whole lotta stuff like that. I have a soft spot for metal covers and industrial though, which I don't really know where that came from.

My mom and I actually like a lot of the same music. But then I love Jazz and she loves rock, and that just clashes. :}

You are a Fox!

Foxes are clever, perceptive, and shrewd. You're happiest working behind the scenes, pulling strings and watching others dance to your imperceptible tune. Independent yet highly social, you glide among your circles of acquaintance with ease, sharing your sharp wit or a delicious piece of gossip.
