So, lately I've been obsessed with The Greatest Showman's soundtrack. It's one of my favorites musicals purely from a song standpoint, along with Rent. Every one of the songs in both of those are gold to me. What are some of your favorite musical numbers and musicals in general that you love all the songs from start to finish?
(my repertoire is rather tiny, so I'm probably missing out.)

I haven't watched too many musicals either (I've only ever watched musical movies, honestly, never one live) but I grew up watching The Sound of Music, and I think that movie just forms a large part of who I am, strangely?

Also grew up listening to all the songs of Fiddler on the Roof, and JCS. Never watched them until much later lol.

It's not over yet.
There's a lot to look forward to.
Keep going.

Oooh, I forgot about The Sound of Music. I've been wanting to rewatch it forever. My coworker was trying to sing one of the songs and I kept butting in and fixing all of his lyrics and finishing the song. I didn't realize I even knew all the lines until then. It's been so long since I saw it though.

I'm pretty sure I would've done the same thing XD Every member of my family looks at me when they're singing the songs as if silently asking me if they're singing it right lmao

I guess you must know the lyrics very well. Normally I'm not so good with lyrics, but the songs in that movie are so very catchy.

Oooh, I also forgot about Into the Woods. I love every single thing about that musical!

For me, I loved Mama Mia but the remake of it.
But still, I loved the soundtrack.
I haven't seen the second one yet but I got a feeling I'd love that one too. :mccute:

I have yet to see Into The Woods but I remember when the trailer of it
came out, so maybe one of these days I'll get around to watching it.

Do you mean the second Mama Mia that just came out? I really liked the first, but I haven't seen the new one yet. Those songs are dangerous though. Get stuck in your head like no other!

I love musicals!
Especially Disney musicals. lol.

But I like other ones too. Phantom of the Opera, Rent, musical episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Les Mis.

I generally won't listen to a soundtrack until I can watch the musical so that's why there's a bunch I haven't listened to.

Oh man, Rent is so good. I remember the first time I watched it and no matter how many times I see it, it only gets better. There are so many gem songs in it, though there are some I'm less fond of. La Vie Boheme and Seasons of Love are my favorites.

Songs from the musical episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer are my favourite! :qh:

I really love Cry Baby and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend :mclove: :mclove: :mclove:

And of course Grease, the first musical I watch :mccute:
