Yes! It's really hard!

My favorite is when I find a duplication, because that lets me "get rid of books" without actually getting rid of the stories....

Foxes are clever, perceptive, and shrewd. You're happiest working behind the scenes, pulling strings and watching others dance to your imperceptible tune. Independent yet highly social, you glide among your circles of acquaintance with ease, sharing your sharp wit or a delicious piece of gossip.

It really depends on my mood to be honest. I'll admit that I don't read as much now as I used to. When I was younger I'd end up making my way through two or three books a week, whereas now I have to divide my time between more activities it can take me a couple of months to finish a book. I really enjoy reading at night just before I go to bed, but it's something that I've gotten out of the habit of. This year hasn't been the best for reading to be honest, I've only actually finished three books so far :qsob:

I just caved in and bought 21 books by an author I like (used, of course, I couldn't possibly justify new) because there was a sale and I've had them on my 'buy when you see them at the used bookstore" list for a while now.
Well, they weren't all one author. Actually there's several in the mix. Still. I'm feeling pretty guilty right now so of course the solution to that is to read a bunch of books I have already, right? So I can say that I really do go through and read them a lot?
>.<

I finally managed to finish my collection of the James Yaffe "Mom" mysteries, plus got my own copy of Janet Kagan's "Hellspark" so the library's copy won't disintegrate entirely. A number of the Dr. Siri books, plus John Moore's "Slay and Rescue", the last two Terry Pratchett books I was missing, and a replacement "Shadows" by Robin McKinley since I'm pretty sure my copy will not be returned to me. Or at least not in the foreseeable future, which is when I want to read it. Then a nonfiction book on cave bees, and another one on city planning (practicalities, not philosophies) which I promised a Nepali friend I'd find and send to him. I'm thinking I should pick up a second and third copy though because post doesn't always make it to its intended recipient, I've found, when I send stuff to him.

So now I'm reading through all my Tanya Huff, Georgette Heyer mysteries (not the romances atm), and when I'm done with those I'm planning an assault on the Gordon Dickson "Dorsai" series.

I'm finally almost finished IT. I think it's got to be one of the largest books I've ever read. And super scary ... Stephen King has to be one of the best horror writers in the world!

I'm mostly reading Life, The Universe, and Everything by Douglas Adams, but I'm juggling a lot of books right now.
