I finished Cartwheeling in Thunderstorms. I thought it was very good. And a lot of the reviews said that they didn't like this book as much as her others, so I am eager to try something else by her now.

I gave up on The Unlikely Master Genius. I was about 40 pages in, and I was really forcing myself.

I also gave up on The Lady in the Attic. I got about halfway through, and I couldn't take another second of it. It's one of those really wholesome mysteries. It's about a lady who finds a cross stitch of a woman. She goes on a mission to find out who the woman is. And that's it. That's the whole mystery. So the book follows her as she asks around, takes pictures of the cross stitch, goes to a diner, talks to a handyman, feeds the cat, goes to a knitting group, etc. I was so bored.

I started reading Beyond Scandal, which I quite like so far. It's one of those old timey trashy romances I think (not 100% sure because I'm not very far in, and I don't read the blurbs on the back).

Yeah, it's hard to get into mysteries when there aren't any stakes.

I should mention I'm just about to have my next book go live~~ It's officially released Thursday. I'm excited XD I actually found more time to read again this week, now that I'm not reading/writing that one anymore haha.

Congrats jacob!

I finished Beyond Scandal. The reviews of it are pretty iffy since it's a romance where the guy is a jerk. But I liked it anyway.

Hey there again :)

I finished reading the Percy Jackson series. I loved it. It was casual stuff, but on a nice level. I mean it's not Harry Potter, but there is some deep stuff hidden in there.. :)

Thanks :)

I got a free copy of a short essay collection this week, the woman was asking if people wanted to read it and review it and it sounded interesting. It turned out not that great and I gave it a generous 3 stars. Then the author came and replied to my review on GoodReads and basically argued with my opinion :') lady noooo don't do that haha

I'm back to reading The Treasure of Alpheus Winterborn. I started it months ago, but I have been slacking on it.
