I keep fiddling with my list on goodreads for next year, but I pulled out a pile of books and set it aside last night that I think I'll read next year. One 4 book series for sure, but still up in the air with some others because there were some I'd set aside for this year I just didn't read that I feel like I should read next year... Just need to decide what my goal will be.

I have one friend on goodreads that actually makes a larger reading goals (I think one year was 50) but she always counted the children books she reads. (iirc she worked at daycare for awhile).

I used to always set my goal for 50, and I'd always make it. I think my record was 120 books in a year. But I was reading a lot of YA and manga at the time.

If I did include all the manga I have read this year my goal would have been like 150. I just feel like that is cheating because I can read 2-3 volumes in one night if I'm not tired in bed...and I don't want the manga I read to clog my goodreads account. I used to make a separate list for it, but I got way to lazy to keep up that this year.

I was able to finish Out of the Easy last night, so that put me at 26 books for 2020.
