Idk, he said I've been mean to him on more than one occassion last month or so and he's not happy about it. But apparently he's not mature enough to tell me right away "hey, this is not okay, quit it" And he went with his favorite thing to say: "I don't remember what and when you did something mean, I forget everything almost instantly because it's not nice to remember, but I guess I should start writing those things down, right?" Like, no, dude, if you forget about something then why dwell on it emotionally? And if something's not okay then tell me right away and don't act like a fussy kid. If I did something mean (which I'm not saying is impossible, I've been irritated a little bit, but him being stand offish sets me off even more so...) and you took it personally even though I didn't mean it personally and then you didn't even tell me you were hurt then who's fault is that? I might not realize I'm mean to you if you don't tell me, sorry. And sorry if you take my anger personally. Just because I cuss under my breath doesn't mean I'm angry at you, it just means I'm angry. I don't hold stuff in like some people
Last night I told him I wanted to go back to our reading sessions and he said it's my fault we don't have those anymore because I'm staying up late... So everything's my fault, apparently, haha. It's not like he could say "hey, it's late, wanna read a book together?". No, he just went to bed without me. Well, I don't realize some things I'm doing or what time it is and all that. Idk. I feel stupid.

This sounds as if he needs to be more open about what he would like and what annoys him about you or in general. Especially since you are a person not holding stuff in, but he seems to be like that... I hope you can figure it out very soon!

Ikr? We had a discussion about it since last time I spoke here about the situation. We both agreed we have terrible communication issues and we need a new system. So I offered we should just openly tell one another if we're having something going on and we ask one another if we feel there's some stifling of emotions happening. Then we ask/tell what we need and we give that to the other. I suppose he'll be needing space and I'll be needing hugs xD Anywho, he agreed to those terms and hopefully we'll be slowly making that a new habit that will get us somewhere. Oh, and I told him he can't get angry with me at the first try if I go by my old behavior and he can't then say my idea didn't work, because we need time to learn this new system. That was another one of his favorite excuses Of course it goes both ways so if we happen to have a similar situation and one of us acts by the old rules then the other one should recall the new rules.
