I need a place to just be able to spill out my love for various books as soon as I've finished reading them, without worrying about spoilers.

And I think it's probably not practical to create a new thread for every author or title or series or what-have-you, right?

But I don't want to have to self-censor for fear of spoilers, and if people prefer to separate out books so they can read the threads for the ones they don't need to worry about spoilers in, and avoid the ones that they care about spoilers for, then maybe it's better to do separate threads after all?

What do you all think?

Books I really want to talk about:
Bone Palace, by Amanda Downum
Shadows, by Robin McKinley
the Kate Ross mystery quartet
and then I have a few I want to rant about, instead, does that count? Mostly I just want a place to talk about books without worrying about spoilers. What do you all think? One thread for spoiler-heavy discussion or separate them out?

Well, probably 90% of my books come from estate sales, library sales, used bookstores, and little free libraries.

But....
Okay here's where you can get those books:
Bone Palace on Amazon
I see a copy of Bone Palace on eBay, too, but that's less likely to remain a useful link long-term so that one I'm not creating....
Thriftbooks.com also has a copy

Actually all those titles can be found on ebay, Amazon, or in Thriftbooks.
so you can go online for them there, or try your local library, or try your local bookstore.

So you're planning on making reviews which include spoilers, right?
I think it would be a good idea writing the title, author and general comments. But writing story details into a spoiler. Just in case.

I would love to hear about them.

Well the whole premise is there will definitely be spoilers, the whole thread is a big spoiler warning.
The question was, spoiler-warning thread for each of the books?
Or spoiler-warning thread in general for all of them together.

No I mean more like this:

I love Pride and Prejudice.
The setting and character descriptiton is fabulous, and the way the society of their time is presented is detailed and feels so authentic you can really understand what they characters are going thru.
The romance is presented in such a tasteful way you really wish life had ever been like that!
Spoiler
And of course Mr. Darcy and Mr. Wickham are awesome characters.
One is presented in the worst light possible while his nemesis is presented as the most agreeable man, only to surprise you with the realization that it's always been the other way around!
The reader is as guilty of prejudice as Lizzie herself!
Which is why, of course, I think this novel is the mother of all the modern romcoms.
