I've also finished the first book of the year but it's not from my list of intended reads and not even in the categories I want to read more of.

reading Woolf's "a room of one's own" now.

I want to read some books for my master's thesis and some books on tarot and witchcraft. I don't really have a number? But I want to make sure to read every day, even if not for long.

That's harder, to my mind. That's an ongoing, you have to live with it forever thing, instead of one single moment that's the exception instead of the rule.

Hi! may i ask which books you're planning to read on tarot and witchcraft? I'd love some recommendations! :qstar:

Well I actually started Rhythm of War last night, because I kept going up to read too late so I just played a game instead. I barely got 40 pages into it (out of 1200-some) and I'm already excited to go read tonight.

I finished re-reading Howl's Moving Castle last night. I didn't remember it at all from the first time I read it, and it's very different from the movie.

Oh. I have that as an ebook, I really should get around to reading that. Maybe if I have time after I get through my planned to read list for this year. Or when I go on my trip later this year. I really don't want to bring a thick paperback book with me and I only have 3 ebooks picked out for this year. Guess it'll depend if I read those before the trip or not.

I finally finished This Other Eden. I hated it so much. It was one of those "romance" books that's really just horrific abuse on his part and Stockholm Syndrome on hers.

I'm less than 50 pages shy of being halfway through Rhythm of War. I do not think I'll get another chance to touch it until next Monday. My goal was to be halfway through it by mid February, so I'm going to say I'm close enough.

Edit: okay I did have a chance to read so yay! halfway done. Now to finish the last half by mid March.
