I'm re-reading the Deathly Hallows right now. I just finished the His Dark Materials series for the first time, and I wanted to read something familiar before picking up something new. ^^ I've only read The Deathly Hallows once, so I'm reading it through again to see if there's anything I missed the first time.
When I finish that....whew I have a big stack of books to read. Stephen King's Dark Tower series, and also Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and the list goes on and on.

I'm reading "The Floating Island" by... I forgot.

Again.

I hardly ever have a 'backlog' of books. In fact, I have a habit of non-stop reading every time I get new ones. In any case, what I'm reading right now is a book called Empress. I hope it picks up soon, because, so far, I'm not too impressed with it.

Cool, i'm reading the Chronicles of Narnia too. I'm on the Prince Caspian book. I'm not reading it because of the movie, but because I didn't have any other books to read besides the Narnia books. I also have the Girl with a Pearl Earring book but I didn't completely read the book.

I'm reading a few different compilations right now. The Green Man: Takes from the Mythic Forest and The Coyote Road: Trickster Tales are both edited by Ellen Datlow and Terri Windling. They include stories from such authors as Neil Gaiman, Gregory Macguire, Tanith Lee, and Charles de Lint. I'd recommend them, as well as The Faery Reel: Tales from the Twilight Realm to any fantasy fans or mythology buffs. The introductions provide a solid background without being overwhelming.

I'm also reading The Norse Myths by Kevin Crossley-Holland. I've heard good things about his retellings of the Norse stories and thought I should give this a try before delving into translations of the eddas. The introduction provides a good bit of information on Viking history and culture.

I'm reading Mister Monday of The Keys to the Kingdom series right about now. n something other book that I've really been neglecting to read xD. it's apparently gathering dust in a small shelf in my bro's room. i've finished the Chronicles of Narnia series last year. i kinda hate the ending >>...but otherwise its good. I've also read lotsa other books so I like reading =)

im not reading any books at the moment because im broke, but if i had any money i would've been reading eclipse and vampire kisses : dance with a vampire (the fourth book in the series)

I'm busy reading Harp of Winds by Maggie Furey, its the 2nd book in a 4 book series.
