So have any of you seen that "Did You Know" on the side that says that the items-found-via-digging-which-are-not-materials change each year in April?
Well....

Does Firn announce it when there's a change? Or does it just happen quietly sometime in April and it's a surprise for the players and a race to see who notices it first?
Or does it change the 1st of April and there's no announcement because it's always changing on the 1st?
Or something else I haven't thought of?

Here is the original announcement of when Firn implemented the feature of digging items changing from year to year. That was back in '14. I couldn't find any subsequent announcements after that one about the digging items changing, which makes me think it's a quiet surprise, but I'm just guessing.

I wonder if I could usefully turn this into a small FAQ kind of guide for new people....

Also I have another small question and I kind of use this thread as my record of questions and answers because it's helpful to have them all in one spot.

So newest question:
If I want to post something in the market and have autobuy options for either :food: or :fc: is that possible? Or does putting an amount into both spots make it so they have to pay BOTH the food AND the fairy coins to be able to buy it?

You'd think I'd know this by now. I've been here long enough.

But, nope. No clue.

No, that's a choice.
I do it all the time with the more expensive items.

1 FC or 100k FPs, for example.
Buyer chooses which option they prefer.
