You're trying to get all your eye options before deciding which you're going to use?

Yes and no...

I really like all the eye options, since they all end up with a bit of a different feel to them...

So I decided I'll choose one for entering in the contest (haven't decided which) but to truly use and wear I'll switch the eyes out to best fit according to my mood!

It's a bit of a backwards approach, but somehow for this particular avi it seemed the only suitable one? :mcsweat: :mcdead: :qoops:

Ah okay, that makes sense!
I'm curious to see the different versions now.

Here you go: All three of them. The only difference is that originally I had the red bonheur eyes in mind, but then I couldn't find that but I did find the white version...

It's the coolest if you see all three of them side by side, but you can only see that in the preview mode when you're editing (it might work if you quote and look at the preview then... dunno...)

Yep, quoting and previewing worked :)

I really like how the combination of closed eyes and tears looks, it's very powerful. All three look great in their own way though.
And I think the white version of the eyes is actually a good idea, since it takes up the white from the dress.
They all transport a slightly different emotion to me:
The sunrise eyes look shocked, but also like there's still fight in her and she wants to change things. Kind of like she just realized what happened.
The bonheur eyes look more hopeless, but also with a lot of low-burning anger and lust for revenge.
The sleeping beauty eyes look like she's in the stage of just drowning in sadness. She'll open those eyes again at some point, when she's ready, and who knows what will lie in there then - madness, blind lust for killing or maybe even a glint of hope for the future?

Yeah... I loved the three and couldn't decide so I went with all three in this case to suit my mood when I wore them... I know it'll be difficult to gather though.... :mcheh:

I'm glad you see the same as I did... the closed ones also give me a bit of a sense that they're resigned and just despairing...

I totally understand how you couldn't decide for just one of them! Good luck getting them all :)

Yes, the closed ones are definitely despairing. The question is, whether that's forever, or whether it's a phase of her grief that will eventually change into something else. I felt a bit like this could be the moment right before the lady bonheur eyes, where she slowly opens them and the anger is there (except the eyeshadow is gone ;) but apart from that, they could really be just points in time shortly after another.).

Yup. I like how it's versatile.

(that and it really tells a story like this no?)
