@memoriam
Not many use Krita
since it lags on account it needs a strong graphics.
Mine doesn't have a strong graphics card, so it lags and struggles
the bigger the piece I am working on. Mostly if I have a canvas around 3000x4000 Pixels. :mcheh:

But it does okay.
Blending I know the basics of, just not making it super smooth yet lol.
But I'm getting there.

@MoodyBats: oh really? I didn't know that. Heard it's one of the most popular free programs out there. I've also heard of gimp and something with alpaca in the name XD

I'm sure you know more than I do, I'm a total noob in digital art. And I've had my tablet for years :qhehe:

@kitah810: Yeah, it might be hard chatting since there's plenty of people from different time zones. But if you're from the US it might be a little easier. Or from around Germany maybe.
Besides, this community is warm and welcoming but quite shy :mcheh:
How did you find kofk? And how do you like it so far? If you have any questions or need help just ask away :mcwink:

Fire Alpaca. Though I don't use that one.
I don't know many who do use Krita. Most artists I run into use Sai, Photoshop or clip studio.

Well I am often studying in every way that I can and trying to put it to the test in my work. :mcheh:

This is the first working tablet I actually had, it doesn't have the highest pressure sensitivity which I need but it'll do for now. :qh:

Actually I ran across it back in '06 or '07, briefly saw it but I had too much going on in my life at the time to even try and be an active member. My life isn't quite as crazy now so I remembered it, (Mostly how cute the knuffels were) then I googled it and voila, here I am. Lol

@Moody: Oh, yeah the Sai everybody recommends :mclaugh:
I'm cool with my tablet, the senstivity is pretty darn good. But I think I pressed it too much at the begnning and I think it might not be as good now :mcheh:
I really have no time to study all the art techniques, I can barely make time for writing already XD

@Kitah: Ah, welcome back then! :mclaugh: I bet you can't even recognize this place anymore, it's changed so much since that time :mcglee:

@Memoriam
Yeah. Though my tablet doesn't like Sai so I can't use it. :mcheh:
It drains my tablet's battery very quickly. And then after charging it, it just refuses to work.

That's okay. Art doesn't have to be something to study for and just have fun.
I am studying it though because I want to make art into a career.
At least part-time.

That's weird it crashes like that :o Although my program also crashes before it even turns on, but I'm guessing it's my laptop's fault. I need a new one.

I "study" writing you could say. Just by my own on courses and workshops. I don't think I've ever been half as passionate about drawing as I'm with writing. I always fantasised about becoming a writer but not about being a professional artist. Drawing was always more of a hobby and visualization of my writing.

Do you specialize in some kind of art?
