You guys with your 10+ tabs x_x I could barely handle 4. The only time I have more than that is when I'm doing a research paper!

It depends on your browser what it does with the tabs once you have so many that they don't fully fit - in firefox they never get smaller than icon + ~6 letters, you'll just have to scroll to see the ones that don't fit on the screen. On for example vivaldi, they become tiny and barely clickable and you just have to remember where is what.

And yes, I do know this because I have enough tabs open in each of them at all times... Around 100 in vivaldi right now + 424 in firefox right now.
As long as you don't actively switch between them all at a time, they should not slow your laptop unless you're using a bad browser. A good browser only really loads the ones you're actively using.

Btw, did you guys know that on mobile firefox the tab count icon becomes an infinity symbol when you have 100 tabs open? ^^

My problem is I do actively use all of them almost at once. I have this habit of cycling through my tabs because I'm impatient on loading times. So I'll click on something in tab 1, then go to tab 2 since it will take a few seconds before tab 1 is ready. Do something there, move to tab 3. Click something, move to tab 4. And so on. I get a bit OCD with having to go through each one in order in a cycle even when there are tabs that I just have open for later and can't do anything with right now.

Okay, with that habit I'd have a lot fewer tabs as well ;)

Many of mine are just stuff I kept open in case I might want to look at it again and then I never touch them again for months let's be real, years ;)

I had super many open tabs and saved tabs and so on on my last laptop.
Like many Mangas I was reading, videos on youtube and so on.
And then, my laptop crashed. Like totally. I wasn't even able to put a second screen on it and start it there because something destroyed every chance to start it. Well, I shrugged and was like: "okay, fate wants me to start all over again. All the tabs I do not keep searching for where not important enough!" xD

BY THE WAY I have art coming up, I'm just lazy finishing it :u

Limi: That's a good way of looking at it! But imagine if they were important though... o_o I don't have a lot of times where I want to go back to things, but then I'll just bookmark it (and then forget about it there lol)
