I did manage to make the leftover spicier but it didn't taste any better. The sauce they put in my meal was weird and I didn't like it much. I ended up just eating half of the leftovers and throwing the rest away. :qmeh:

I know the feeling - I had to throw some food away earlier.
I felt so horrible.

I don't often eat out especially not at a Chinese place.
I get much better asian food at home.
I usually have Japanese when I'm eating out or Thai/Laos food c:
You can always count on Thai/Laos food to be super spicy if they're run by actual Thai/Laos people.

A lot of restaurants in suburbs with high 'white people' (sorry to be general) population like Sydney CBD tend to lower the spicy level or the food would be intolerable for a lot of people who eat there. I don't usually expect food to be spicy unless I'm in more Asian suburbs.

I once ordered a level 3 spicy ramen and my bf at the time tried it. He was in tears and I barely felt the heat. So cute c:

Yeah, I don't like wasting food.

There is a Japanese place right next door to the Chinese place I was at. I don't know if the food would have been better since I think they share a kitchen..but it might have had a different chef.

I don't usually eat Chinese food either especially since my bf is so picky. He's the one who picked out that place. He told me the "Asian food" I make at home is the best Asian food he's had. XD

I went to a Thai restaurant before and the food was sooo good. :mclove: It also was actually spicy too. Sadly that restaurant isn't nearby here but there are other Thai ones here.

Actually the Chinese restaurant I went to was in an area with a whole bunch of other Asian stores/food places. My bf and I were the only people who weren't Chinese there. XD I only had chopsticks to eat with too and i'm not very good using them but I managed. I could have asked for a fork but I didn't feel like it. :qhehe:

I once was at a restaurant and a white lady was complaining that her food was too spicy...it only had some black pepper on it. XD

I don't eat much Asian food since they seem to have sauces or cooked with rice or vegetables and I don't like any of those.
I actually ordered some chicken from a Chinese restaurant and I told them no vegetables.
They were like "Oh, how old is your daughter?" when my mom went to get it.
I was 20 or 21, wtf does not wanting vegetables have to do with age >_>

My bf doesn't like most vegetables, that's why we don't go out to eat at Asian restaurants often.

That is weird that they asked that though. O.o I don't see why they even cared what your age was.

She thought I was a little kid that didn't like vegetables I guess xD
But I do like vegetables, I just don't like most of them cooked.

I'm not even sure what is red velvet. Is it just some red food colouring and vanilla? o-o I don't particular enjoy red velvet.

Unfortunately, Thai places aren't common or they're really expensive. So many more Japanese restaurants have popped up in Sydney over the past few years. Everywhere you go there's a Japanese restaurant. I think it's over kill.
Korean is uncommon as well.

We don't have all the orea flavours like in the US. We have original, chocolate and strawberry. Even strawberry can be a little hard to find.

I'm Asian so I'm used to the vegetables and rice. I don't like the vegetables they serve in restaurants (eg carrot, capsicum, beans, onions). We don't often have those at home except onion. I prefer the ones you see commonly in asian cooking and herbs *A* I just eat a lot of green leaves that come from our garden. So like taro root, thai basil, chinese spinach, bitter gourd (I hate this stuff >_<) etc etc
