I love patients like that!
Like 98% of the patients that get shots squirm and flinch.
We have people that literally wiggle around, kick, try to push our hands away, squeeze my hand or the chair super hard, cry, and mind you I am talking about ADULTS as we see very few children.
A lot of the children we do see behave WAY better than the adults do. They will be scared and need a hand, but they hold still and cooperate with the shot.

I agree, the shot doesn't hurt, you do feel it going in, but it doesn't hurt. It's just a weird feeling. So people decide to react to it as if it were pain.

I have a decently high pain tolerance anyway.

When I got my wisdom teeth cut out, I couldn't swallow any pain pills, so I was in pain for a few hours.
And when I was younger I twisted my ankle really badly.
And then there's these muscle spasms I get.
And leg cramps.
And headaches.
And I jammed my finger once really bad.
I've also been cut a lot.
I cut my leg nearly wide open once.

I have a high pain tolerance too so I feel bad because patients constantly ask me how much pain they are going to be in, and I respond with how I personally felt after it, and what patients have told me. Then they get mad at me because they are in more pain than what they thought they would be from listening to me.

Most people don't understand each person is different. Some people it doesn't bother them at all, others they need prescription pain killers and act like a baby xD

Moi, what have you been up to? I really haven't talked to you in a super long time.

I was terrified of getting a tooth pulled.
I thought it was going to hurt.
It didn't hurt AT ALL.
The only pain there was was where it was tender where I got a few injections.
The actual part where it was pulled from never hurt ._.

Yeah, everyone is different.
You can't really say "No, it won't hurt"
But you can't say "Yeah, it'll hurt like a bitch!"

And I got rid of the puppies a while ago.
We're not financially sound enough to have many dogs.
And a some of them died ;_;
It makes me sad looking at the pictures now.

Uhh, haven't been up to much.
Fighting bad anxiety and depression.

It didn't hurt me either. I had swollen cheeks from getting all 4 wisdoms pulled at once, but it didn't hurt. I went shopping right after. Went from the dental office to the mall Lol

I'm taking medication and therapy for it.
I'm trying to kill it, but it's hard.
Well, it will never be gone, I just have to learn how to not let it take control.
Which is a very sad thing.

I went straight home after my surgery.
Augh. It hurt so bad getting it done.
But only right after the pain killers wore off.
The whole procedure only took like 25 minutes ._.

I was scared of the IV because when I get blood taken it hurts and is unpleasant.
So when they were like "You have to get an IV 8u"
I was like "No. No I don't u8"
Then they couldn't find a vein so they said "We'll have to put it in your hand 8u"
And then I almost died from a heart attack.
But they found a vein.
Then the assistant was like "I'm going to start the IV. You may feel dizzy."
Then the room started spinning and I felt nothing u8

Hmm I remember the waiting room, I don't remember walking into the room or anything in the room. Then I remember walking out with a mouth full of blood and gauze and demanding to be taken to the book store. Lol

And I was swollen up like a chipmunk for about a week afterwards.

Luckily I don't really have a bad addictive personality.
I'll get addicted to something then I'll just stop and move on.
Unlike my family which is full of alcoholics and drug addicts.
