Which makes me happy, but I usually don't end up with them in my lap because having animal stand on my lap (which usually comes before they lie down) makes me ticklish and they seem to sense my discomfort and step off.

Bipolar disorder is actually between "I'm invincible" to "I'm a terrible person", usually. Like they get on a high and they feel that they can't fail at anything and then they get so depressed that they can't do anything. I think your aunt does need to get professional help, but I'm not sure bipolar disorder sounds like her.

Can you afford to take her to the vet? I hear that cats usually get more aloof when they're sick but you never know. Any changes in behaviour, right? Because cats like to hide when they're sick.

It does sound like she needs some mental help. Have you ever suggested it to her? I know that lots of older people don't like to get help though, which I've always found stupid. I can understand if you can't afford it but lots of them have medical insurance or whatever and they still won't seek help. So dumb.

Aw, poor kitty. Maybe she's anxious because of all the yelling? Or she senses you're anxious because of the yelling and is trying to comfort you. When I cry my cat likes to lay close to me. My husband and cat both do that sometimes. When I'm awake and notice I like to sooth them until they calm down. It makes me feel nice to help.

Blue only weighs about 14 pounds but when she steps on you it can be painful. All of her weight in four small points. When she lays down it's great.

She goes to the doctor all the time. But this is the first time she's been hospitalized since she had her strokes. She's been in there for quite some time now. Almost a week. They're supposed to biopsy her liver today.

I'm bipolar. I have extreme highs and lows. It sucks. The highs don't come very often. lol. But for lots of people the highs are more dangerous than the lows. For me highs means I MIGHT have some energy to do some housework. If I'm super lucky. If not it means that I'm talking a mile a minute and freaking the fuck out.

Haha, Boyfriend's roommate's cat loved to rub her head on everything. One time, we were making nachos and she was just staring while we were adding the beans so I offered her a bean to sniff and she rubbed her head on it. We say she's friend to all creatures, including beans.

From what I understand cats have higher body temperature than us so they prefer to cuddle during summer than winter because we feel cooler? I don't know.

The only time I had an animal on my lap was this tiny chihuahua. He was so light that I didn't have time to feel the tickle. Or anything, really. Other than OMG IT'S HAPPENING OMG GET THE CAMERA

Yuh. I've had animals use my lap as pillow but only one animal has used it as a bed. There have been cases where people have plopped animals on my lap, but I get stiff because I'm trying not to writhe around from being tickled and I guess animals feel my tenseness because they just stand stock still and then get off real soon.

For me, it depends on how good it is. If it makes me dry-heave, then I'm gonna stop eating it because I think that's more rude than not eating it.

Ah, yeah. Being ticklish does make things more difficult. I'm so glad that I'm not super ticklish. Kevin is INSANELY ticklish. Like it gets annoying. If I even poke him it tickles him. It has interfered with our sex life before too. There are lots of things he won't let me do because he gets super ticklish.

Oh yeah. I meant like if it's well made healthy food. I ain't gonna eat gross stuff. Lots of times I will actually crave healthy food. It just takes a lot more effort to make than junk food so I don't get it as often.

So just to be fair I am weirdly logical. Like even when I'm wasted I am basically just myself but a LOT louder. So even when I'm manic I can generally control myself enough to know not to do super destructive things.
