no? it only lasted like 2 weeks looooool. there was no extension, no nothing. the event just finished yesterday and there will be a few more days for the shop to be open and we can still do the event quests a few times to get some last minute stuff. and it wasn't hard, apart from getting enough wrapping paper to complete the quests, you had to either get it from the event quests or from other users. some people complained originally of the prices for the event items in the event shop (it was 50 event currency for one totem and this totem, when alched, could become the event pet) but it all worked out in the end since some of the event items were event tier rewards.
