Some people make it hard to like them xD
Like...I love my aunt but I don't like her much >>

I've discovered over the years that I'm an extreme introvert.
If I had a kitchen and bathroom in my room, I'd never leave it xD
Well, I'd go out to take care of the cats and my dog.
I avoid people like they have the plague.
I'd dig tunnels just to get places without having to deal with people.
My family seems to think I hate people, but it's more of I hate being around people.
I consider myself an empath, so I don't HATE people I just hate having to be around them and talk to them because it makes me uncomfortable.
Like yesterday when my dad told all his friends on Facebook it was my birthday so a lot of people told me happy birthday.
I said thank you because it was nice but then I wanted to go sit in my closet the rest of the day 8u

Hiding in a hollow tree (come find me)
I know you hear me,
I can taste it in your tears."

That's quite extreme indeed.

I'm somewhat introverted.
The kind of introverted that prefers solitude or smaller groups, and grows anxious in larger groups and situations that I can't control.
I'm a very talkative person and from the outside can seem quite social, it's just that I'm only social as long as it's mandatory. Then I run to my house, and find solace in being quiet.

My mom always says I have social anxiety but I'm not sure.
I've never had someone tell me that's what I have, officially.
I'm extremely Agoraphobic and that's what it falls under I guess.
I dropped out of school and my mom always cites that I told her "I'm scared of people ;;" and that opened her eyes.

But you never got any kind of clinical diagnosis?

Not that I remember. I just tell people I have depression and Agoraphobia.
I don't remember this, but my mom took me to see this doctor who still works at the clinic.
I made no eye contact with him and didn't talk much.
She told him I was socially anxious and he said "I can see that." and he's the reason I got diagnosed with Agoraphobia.
I don't remember any of that .__.

At least telehealth and virtual visits are a thing nowadays, so you wouldn't have to leave your safe space to talk to a professional.

I was able to talk to my sleep doctor through the phone.
I know his office offered that but I don't know if the clinic my therapist is at does it.
I only went to the clinic during the pandemic to get my medications.

Yeah, virtual visits have a downside for some cases, but also an upside for others.
I would like to keep them forever, but just for a few things.
Because sometimes you just need a phone call for a little doubt, why waste everybody's time going to the doctor's office?

For some things, yeah, virtual visits are great. like, if I'm not feeling up to going into the office on a Monday because I was up every other hour the night before with gut issues, I can do my therapy appointments over Zoom. But sometimes, there's stuff I absolutely NEED to go into the office for, like what I'm starting this coming Monday: EMDR therapy, which is something that it's safest to do in person, in a controlled environment.
