Kar Yan and Jia Xin are the ACTUAL names. Pinyin and Jyutping are just what the type is CALLED. like how japanese has furigana and katakana and stuff. Pinyin is the mandarin name for it, Jyutping is the cantonese one.

I watched Memoirs of a Geisha with my bestie.
She lived in Japan when she was younger and she urged me to watch it with her.
Since then, I took interest in learning about them.
I love Japanese culture and history in general.
Anime and manga definitely helped spark my interest, but my knowledge covers more than just anime and manga when it comes to Japan.
I know people always say "You know anime isn't real, right!?"
Those are the same people that call Chinese stuff Japanese.
