most recent i've gotten were vol 1 and 2 of vampire game and a few vols of vampire hunter d. i'm missing one to be able to read the ones of d straight through (it's like vol 1,2, and 4 or something like that). by no means are those all that are in either series, just what had come through.

Let me know how either is regardless, I litterally do like hearing manga and anime recommendations from people(usually i have a harder time otherwise finding new stuff unless it's blind box, or a videogame comes out. Also *hugs Tsuki* I saw what happened to you on FB and just wanted to offer a hug here.

So I just finished the original series of Inuyasha tonight of the anime, just need to get through final act now, then hopefully i can get the manga down the road since final act only covers bullet points of the last chapters, but not the full events of them.

I'm actually liking how they ended the original series since it does show that they respected that the manga was still ongoing and didn't half arse an ending for the show just to wrap things up. Still going to be a little bit of an adjustment for me though since final act changed some voice actors, primarily Sesshomaru's and Kagome's. Keith watched through it not too long ago though and said the replacement for Sesshomaru was good, Kagome's... not so much.

that's a series i've always wanted to watch/read. when i was working at blockbuster, someone returned a disc to us that belonged to our major competitor in town. we waited for someone to come get it, but never did. so the manager let me have it xD it was disc 5 of season 1 of inuyasha...so technically i could watch the couple episodes on that, but i'd have no idea what was going on xD

http://www.viz.com/watch/streaming/inuyasha

You can watch the entire series, including final act here. Viz has been offering streaming of their anime for a while, has ads but it's a way to see if you want to own the series fully on dvd down the road.

Just started on final act and yeah there's definetly some missing things in it, a character randomly returning that should not have returned(unless the original series adjusted something but i doubt it) Kagome's voice is def very different, and will take me a good while to get used to, and there's some actions she's already done that have me going "how in the heck did some other characters not notice at all" XD.

Edit: looked it up on the character thing, that was done in the manga too, it's basically meant to be a wtheck moment period. Also thinking that Rin's VA was changed as well, or her VA couldn't remember how she did the voice prior, the voice is slightly different.

LOL! i have no doubt i'll buy inuyasha at some point, even if it's way way way down the line.

They have subtitled(Jap dub with eng sub) and dub on there :P so you can have it your way and they do the same with their dvds :) That said I personally like the original va's for Inuyasha, I just wish they hadn't had to change the kagome one(it was due to the VA having moved and not having the funds to travel to where the studio was, studio is in canada, she and the va for sesshomaru had moved to the US) as the new one isn't as good, but she's tolorable, the new sesshomaru though tried a lot harder to match the originals voice and did really well.

Though I know what you mean anyways, I refuse to watch Cardcaptor Sakura dubbed anymore because the only true to the original japanese ideas dub there is, is HORRIBLE(the other dub had good va's but changed a lot of things, as well as cut out parts of episodes)
