which would actually make it less likely that the older knuffel get spread around. rather than donating them to newer users, they'd be going to the highest bidder- which actually WOULD be unfair if the point of this is to make older knuffel available to everybody.

probably

it may not be practical but it would help reduce complaints from both sides of the issue, i think. but a general wait time between knuffel purchases wouldn't be out of place either. over at chicken smoothie users may only adopt one pet from the pound in any 24 hr period, for generally the same reasons (to spread out the available pets to the most users.)
Lilandra wrote:So, I don't think that the reason for Firn to have it this way is bandwidth. I rather think it's the issue that it'd need to be coded and starkad already has little time. And there are lots of things starkad currently needs to work on, e.g. the Battling System.
Ziaheart wrote:That said, I realize Starkad is the one who needs to code this and Firn is the one who needs to bug Starkad to code this if it were to be implemented, and that Knuffel is often one of the biggest source of bandwidth usage on this site, so I'll understand if you say it's too much trouble to implement this.
lilandra, i think whoever suggested that it might be bandwidth issues was just trying to give a
possible reason for only being able to choose the final stage once, rather than multiple times. i also think the reason anyone responded at all was because JosieQ did not post an actual suggestion, but an inane and inappropriate rant about "OMGZ MAKEING ROOLZ FOR NO REAZUN FASHIST DICKTAYTOORS !!!11!one!!eleven!!1" about something that is not even a RULE, but a FEATURE, and they were trying to suggest that yes, there really COULD be a reason. though i agree with both you and Zia that it is most likely a coding issue, AND there are things higher on the 'to do' list than that.
