Surgery went well, only sad thing is that I have to go back cause they didn't manage to do everything :/

But I'm recovering well, doing everything exactly as I'm ordered! haha

No, an infection surely wouldn't be fun. Glad that you've been spared that *knocks on wooden desk* and let's hope it stays that way.

I am! I'm taking short breaks inbetween but progressing quite nicely, its mostly unpacking that I do. My bff has to put all the ikea furniture together haha cause I can't squat/be on my knees just yet c':

That makes sense :) But it's definitely great if unpacking is already possible for you! And it's good that you do take your breaks :)
Too bad you miss out on the furniture assembly though, I always find that super fun and satisfying.

I have to sit on the couch and watch, she won't let me do much more than hand her things and I hate it cause I also love putting together ikea furniture! Especially the basic kind of shelves we got, they're so easy and straightforward but anything that requires me to bend my knees or kneel or squat etc is a firm no c':

But on the other hand it means I have been able to focus on my room, which is slowly but surely coming together exactly how I've always wanted it and that really makes me so so happy ♥

Yeah, building furniture without kneeling seems hardly possible. But I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who actually enjoys the assembly part about ikea :) I mean, it's kinda like lego for adults, isn't it ;)
But it's good that your friend is not letting you do anything that might harm you :)

And your room coming together sounds exciting! Having more time for that definitely sounds like a good upside to missing out on the furniture building :)
