Ha ha ha, yeah, I remember spending a fair bit of time in Dawson one year (learned more than I needed to know about the Klondike gold rush). My awe for the people who live there all their lives is nigh on boundless! (I felt so isolated all the time, there)
And it changed my view of snow: it was weirdly often WARMER with snow than without. Go figure!

These days I'm a complete wimp about it, and stay inside when it even threatens to snow.
Eh, well. Never said I was tough. :P

Ah, I so appreciate my own area right now!
I planted a bunch of bulbs last fall and they are almost ready to bloom! (They have two more days to do it before I leave, ha, but point is. Nice weather.)

Well. We did get a bit of snow just recently but bulbs are hardy, it didn't even last a full day, and it's back to being relatively nice again.

It's usually in the 90s in April.
But we woke up to snow.
No one knew what to do.

I remember it snowing on Valentine's Day when I was in junior high.
I was going with my friends to give candy to patients at the hospital.
It was so cold, but I wasn't...cold. It was amazing xD
