Oh, I guess I'm a Fujoshi then too. I really like romance stories. I'll read anything. I don't like anything that's too angsty though. A little angst is okay but too much makes me not want to read it anymore. I have enough real life angst I don't need any of that fake shit. lol.


I don't think otaku is used as an insult anymore. I do find it strange that there are so many words for people who are interested in Japan.


It's been a while since I read any actual yaoi manga. I have a few that I really liked a lot. There was a BL called Vassalord that I was super into. I haven't read it in quite some time though. I wonder if they ever finished it.

There was this really sweet shounen-ai series called Seven Days and it’s really nice! There was a Japanese live action for it as well!

I watched a little of the live action version of a couple of manga and they always changed the gay characters. Either changing their gender or making them straight. Not cool man.

Well it’s about two high schoolers, one is a senpai, the other is a kouhai. The younger guy has this thing where every week, he would get a new girlfriend. However, he always breaks up with the girl at the end of the week, apologizing for not being able to fall in love with her. That’s why it’s become traditional for the girls at the school to ask him out at the beginning of the week to go out with him, hoping that they’ll be that lucky “loved one” of his. The senpai recently heard of this strange tradition so, as a joke, he asks him out and the kouhai accepts. However, what started out as a joke slowly became something more.

It’s really cute and sweet! The kouhai isn’t a playboy as you might expect, he’s just looking for someone whom he can fall in love with (he was hurt by love before). That’s what I love about it, those kind of sweet feelings of falling in love for the first time. Cx

Another really nice one that had really nice feels is one called Kimi no Yume o Mite Iru. Those last two chapters really kicked me in the feels. Makes me cry every time.

I haven’t seen the live action version. Japanese actors aren’t as “pretty” as Korean ones in my opinion lol. But I did have a peek at it! Might watch it at some point but who knows?

Seven Days and Kimi no Yume are both one manga shots. So I guess they are sorta like one shots? They’re fully translated anyway.

Oh it’s not super sad, there’s just a lot of feels. And it’s a happy ending so it’s all good! It’s about this book editor who meets a travel writer at work. This writer actually has been having foretelling dreams since he was little and he saw this editor in his dreams and stuff.

Another one I liked was Gelateria Supernova. I have the entire series (it’s a two part manga, one is a sequel). I use the Renta! site so that’s why I have both. I love this series too.

Have you ever read Wish? It's a CLAMP series too, only 4 volumes I think. There was a biiiit of BL in there as well, with a few of the side characters.

Oh yeah, same here. The ones I mentioned all have romance, and its like the "oh-my-feels" kind of romance so its not straight hentai lol. It's probably the reason why Omegaverse is verrrrrrry hit and miss with me. Especially when just about EVERY omegaverse story starts with rape. Like srsssss, whyyyyy?? ;-; The mpreg is cute but if it came about because of non-consensual...stuff....than that's just a terrible way to start a story. D:
