I've never lived in a place which needed surveillance, to be honest all this seems so strange for me.

The video looks almost unreal.
Did you notice how she took on doll, she was putting it in her sweater and then suddently she changed her mind and put it into the box? (Why would she be carrying a box other than storing whatever she stole?)
And then she was about to leave but she suddenly remembered there was a second doll?
She was so bad at remembering what she was doing that it's clear there was something going on with that person, maybe drugs or whatever, but she was not exactly an smooth criminal.

thats it for surveillance? 8u that's very unsafe. i don't think we have security guards here but i know we do have cameras at exits and entrances, ive seen them. whether they're monitored or not......xD;;

Amura: I shared the vid on Nextdoor.com and everyone said she looked strung out on drugs..

Hotarla: its an old building, built before surveillance was ever thought of for apartments. They'd need to do a lot of wiring and crap, and hire someone to watch the system... they're barely keeping the place up to par as is these days.. no way they'll fork out the money for safety measures.

If someone here got surveillance for their building, people would say they are nuts ^^;
And you people talk about it as if it were the most natural thing.
The places you live in are really that dangerous?

And I'm not talking about doll-stealing (truth is nobody here would leave that kind of decoration outside the apartment, just in case) but like, worried something real bad could happen to you?

Our is an old complex too. Def needs rewiring on just about everything. Probably needs better heating/cooling systems. XD;; really, its kinda…old. XD;;

So, I was told they got their dolls back. ovo YAY! didn't find out who it was tho. >:x


When I first moved into this place, it was nice. The landlady (Sue) then did her job, did her best to make the place into a community with events and activities. Background checks, maint was done often..

New landlady takes over (Patty, not to be confused with neighbor Patti), hardly anything gets done. No events, so the community stopped being a community. Stuff that was GOING to be replaced, never happened. and Background checks don't happen either.. so drug dealers, child molesters, who knows what else have been able to move in.


When Sue was landlady, you report someone with sticky fingers, or someone parking in your space. It got took care of. And people with certain types of criminal records weren't allowed to move in.


We're FINALLY getting our parking lot done... Patty says that once we have numbers painted on the spaces again she'll start towing people who don't belong in said spaces. Not holding my breath on that one. =3= She didn't tow anyone last time we had numbers on the spaces... and now the numbers are so faded, she just says "no one can tell its your spot"? wtf. >:x




I got a sleep mask that has cushions that go around the eyes, so the eye parts don't touch the face. No bothering the eyelashes! I got it because I been getting sinus headaches lately which have been making my eyes sensitive to light.

Wish I got this years ago.. when mom started requiring me to leave my door open so I could hear her if she called for me.. She always had her light on 24/7.. and I got use to sleeping with light on somewhere..

Because of that, I'm able to sleep with the tv on. People complain about my music, not that it's too loud, but because THEY can't understand it. (Japanese music ftw)... So I been having movies or tv shows play at night. The speakers I have SUCK so you can't hear crap outta them.. So I use the tv speakers.. until recently. Finally found my 3mm jack extension cord. Got my old yet still good speakers to reach the pc. (used these speakers for my iPOD)

So now I can turn the tv off but still have the sound of the shows still playing. I can't sleep in silence... x-x I get nightmares or just can't sleep at all because my brain will start spinning out of control... Music or a Video of some kind playing has my brain focus on that and helps me sleep.

Well.. for the past 2 weeks I been able to turn the tv off with the sound still going. Getting back to my pitch black sleep.. or so I thought. EVERYTHING GIVES OFF SOME SORT OF LIGHT! It didn't bother me at first.. but the sinus headaches I been getting.. its like having a laser pointer pointed at my eye... even with them closed...

So I got me a sleep mask... OMG it blocks out light so well.. I don't have to turn ANYTHING off if I don't want to. It came yesterday and I used it last night... I didn't feel like my PC or the Switch Joy Con Charger.. or the fishtank.. or neighbors who pull in with highbeams on lighting up the place are trying to kill me!

The mask is so comfy.. >A< where has this thing been my whole life.

Still, glad your neighbor got their dolls back. Sucks that there’s no more maint or background checks in your building. 8u

People don't know their spot, of course, because they are such idiots that they can't remember which spot is theirs if it's not clearly painted. They can't also remember which spouse is theirs if they don't have a name tag on them. And they have a map to remember which job is theirs. Because, you know, it's all so hard to remember. ¬¬


That sleep mask sounds like a dream!
I've always slept in complete darkness, any light at all bothers me, but I've never seen such a fancy mask, only the classic plain ones.
