Well that was in Tahiti so it's hard to get to in the best of times, in a pandemic though it was near impossible. So yeah it makes sense, doesn't make it any less sad. I hope the chickens are well.

Also makes me glad we managed to have our honeymoon in 2019 and not later.

I don't know if I would like a cruise. In terms of only having a short while to visit each place, it seems like it would be similar to a road trip. I did one of those and honestly, I can say I would like to go back to every single stop we visited on the trip and actually spend a week there instead of one or two days XD

I can't help but think that in an economic crisis, a chicken is most likely to end up as supper.

But then that's the eventual fate of most chickens anyhow.

They're surprisingly long-lived birds but still a little less than most dogs, so... depending on how long ago that was, maybe they died of old age first? If that thought comforts you?

I'm so sleepy right now. I gave blood and then my monthly started up and between the two I am so unutterably drained it isn't funny.

It's making my thoughts go skittering about instead of following through with logical connections, which has made it hard to finish up the bookkeeping that is due tomorrow.

Sigh.

That sounds so profound...

You make me want to try it out even more -but it'd have to be very carefully chosen lest I get frustrated with lack of time. More of a pre-trip sampler to decide where to spend more time next, than the actual trip itself? Hm. Must mull this over a little more.

Boy, I would actually love to go on a world tour cruise, though I'm not even sure that's a thing??? If it is though, sign me up! And I would definitely love to do a Nile cruise, too. Actually, there are an awful lot of trips I'd like to do, not just cruise-wise!

It actually feels like that a lot; like, you're kinda veto-ing different places and realize that you'd like to visit them all for a month. xD

Why is this such an accurate description, lmao. And while most activities on the boat proper aren't really my cup of tea (I'm reeeally not a people-person, and tend to prefer solo activities indoors), I do agree with the good food bit.
