Aha, I don't think there is such a thing as over-developed OCs, but in any case, I like the depth. X3 Ocean and I pretty crazy with our character development; we tend to analyze them from a number of different points, she with her lengthy character profiles filled up to the brim in details, and I with my snippets on their psychological and emotional state and stalking their relatives and homes. XD;

Many of my characters have birthdays too --all of my old set have them, and Ocean even celebrates hers. I can only remember two of my character's birthdays though; both on August 13. I guess you could say it's a special day for me, and yet I can never remember it on that day. XD;

Do you have many left-handed OCs? Most of mind tend to be right-handed (though I've noted a few details about being left-handed, should it come in handy), and I have an ambi-lefty. XD

What sort of details do you write about for your OCs? (Open question.)

When I think about those types of questions, I consider my OC's lifestyle and habits as well. Faris (my wizard OC) for example, is the type of person who's sorta laid-back, but active in life, so even though he might not be considered the earliest of risers, he still is a morning person (waking up at 7-8 seems natural for him). He would probably let the light that gradually seeps into the room wake him up... very natural and serene. Then again, I could also see him waking up to the sounds of a busy street down below his room. He's a sort of wanderer, so I can think up a number of similar scenarios for him. XD

@Alice: Aha, currently Faris doesn't have a birthday; not that it matters. I plan to save it for a relevant date in the RP before deciding; as a wizard in my world, he's supposed to be secretive about those types of personal details anyways. Oddly, my wizards all dye their hair (but for different reasons). O__o Red is currently the fashionable hair color.

Oh, do you guys do you compare your characters with each other? I did that with some of my old ones... organized them by age, or by their looks, or by intelligence, or temperament. It's pretty fun to see the variety and balance among them.
