Thanks Shadow!
Yeah my mum was the same,
but I like what I'm doing now and she seems to be okay with it,
maybe because she gets her hair done for free lol.
Art is fun, I like to draw now and then.
Thanks! I hate summer haha.

Yeah family support always helps.
I'm pretty far into it now.
I'm qualified to do almost everything.
I'll be doing a teaching certificate in it soon also.
I go to a local college to do it so I'm getting the right qualifications.
:qh:
Summer is probably my favorite season. @-@ Minus the mosquitoes and the scary bugs and caterpillars, I actually don't mind the heat. As long as I'm wearing really light clothing, that is. Which is kind of difficult, because my school uses uniforms, and there's still a month left of wearing thick, immobile clothing. I hate it. I can't even properly run in them. XD

Gaw... you have the perfect life. X3

  • That's cool, Jinxy. I've always been kind of curious about styling school. Like, who/what do you practice on?

    @Shadow - Is that going to be my title now? Mouse dude from LoL? XD
    And it doesn't have to be 'pro' to be a great hangout spot! Mine's not pro either but I'd say it's doing fairly well.

    On the subject of seasons, I hate summer. I'm not a fan of the heat, so that's natural. Maybe in other places I wouldn't mind it so much but the summers where I am are just gross and bleh. Fall is my favorite and it's a shame that it doesn't last very long here.

I'm a big goth so summer and me do not go hahaha!
Gosh I hated uniform when I was at school,
I still have to wear uniform now for college... -.-;
Black pants and a black tunic so it gets pretty hot in the college salon.

Me? A perfect life?
Hehehe, nah it has its ups and downs.
I just get on with it all.
My family is lovely thought so that helps.
My eldest child though is hard work,
he is Autistic.

We practise on hairdressing training heads Lieu.
They are just these doll heads with lots of hair.
Get a pretty creepy though when the house is full of them looking at you.

@Mouse dude from LoL
Yup. ^^ It's the name I've so precariously prepared for you. Okay, that made no sense, but I love that word.

Yeah~ *-* 70 pages seems like a dream for me.

I'm fine with heat as long as I can handle it in some way. I dislike summer only because hoodies cannot exist. They're my favorite piece of clothing, and once summer jumps in, I can't wear them. Fall doesn't last very long for us either. D: Shortens the days where I can cuddle with the warmth of my hoods.

@Jinxy
Ew. Uniforms suck. But to be honest, I can't complain because my fashion taste is the absolute worst. All I wear is black and whatever my mom buys for me. I really don't care. Unless when my mom forces me to wear dresses. No.

Well that's good then~ ^^ Support is the awesomest.

And dolls with hair... that reminds me of how I used to cut my dolls' hair. Now they're all bald and hairless. I regret everything. XD

Yeah it does suck,
but it is needed so I do not get any chemicals on my own clothes.
I buy all my own clothes,
have done since I was 14.
Hated the stuff my mum got me lol.
I like dresses but they are mostly gothic ones.

Indeed it is.

Haha not the little ones,
they are the same size as a human head so they are rather creepy.
I use to do the same to my dolls haha.
Use to colour their hair also.

  • @Jinxy - Huh. Of course hairdressing dolls make sense.
    I guess I was hoping that an unsuspecting crowd of people was released into the students' care for you guys to practice on. XD
    But a house full of creepy doll heads works just as well.
    I'm pretty sure I would go 'nope' all the way through your house, especially if I had just watched a scary movie.

    @Shadow - Could that at least be shortened to Mouse? 'Cause I could live with that. x3

    If it makes you feel any better, mine happened to get a boost from the event that happened not too long ago, so there were more people around to help get it started. I do look at bigger threads and wonder how they managed that. A lot of time, I guess.

    Hoodies are the best.~
    The next time I can indulge in a shopping spree of any kind, it will most likely involve hoodies. Awesome game related hoodies. It'll be worth it.

    I've never had to wear a school uniform, so I don't know what that's like.
    I didn't know places still did that for colleges. o:

We still practise on people but only when we have done a good enough job on a training head.
Cannot mess up the clients hair now can we? Hehehe.
The tutors are always there to help us also,
they can take over when we are working on people,
so sometimes we get to practise on them first instead of a head.
Would be horrible if you watched one about a killer doll!
:mcshout:
Now that would scare me!
I think I am getting use to them now,
they all have their own name hahaha.

@Mouse
As you wish~ XD

I'm just kind of sad that this place is a tiny bit underpopulated. D:

For me, I don't like hoodies with many designs or words. I prefer them with only one color, and preferably dark. Bright, cheery colors don't appeal to me for some reason.

It's actually not that bad—just terrible in hot weather. Some people have made protests against the school for making us wear them though. :') There were also speeches being written...

@Jinxy
This hair cutting business kind of scares me, since I know I will always mess up on something. :O

  • @Jinxy -
    Well that makes sense. And it's nice that you guys have tutors that can step in and help when needed.
    I miss being a tutor.
    Killer dolls, like those Chucky movies! They used to scare me so badly when I was younger. I would always worry that my stuffed animals would come to life and kill me. When I couldn't sleep, I would lay in bed and stare at my closet door. And this was in high school. :mccry:
    Watch out! Giving them names has got to be the first step to some horror movie situation.

    @Shadow -
    Success! XD

    This whole site seems underpopulated, which is a shame.

    I'm not drawn to bright colors either. I tend to like hoodies with small logos on them, or some kind of color design. One I've been wanting for years is a Mass Effect hoodie, preferably one that has the signature colors going down one arm. They're expensive though.

    I remember the go-to hypothetical debate that teachers would choose in high school was always 'uniforms vs. freedom'. I could see the points on either side, from the arguments that I remember, but I think I would have been annoyed if I had to wear a uniform.

    @Whimsy -
    Hello! I'm doing pretty well myself, and I wish you luck on your exam! I'm sure you'll do fine. :3
