I had a look into the code, and it was actually displaying a wrong amount of Troth Tokens to claim in certain cases. I've corrected the error, so that the claim link displays the right amount.
The system does not calculate the time since your last login, but simply compares the actual current date according to server time with the date you last collected Troth Tokens, also according to server time. If you happen to be online at around 0:00 AM server time (whatever time that may be in your timezone), there are cases where you are able to collect TTs before and after the date change.
The case where it may be difficult is, when you happen to come online before date change, and the next day after date change - in which case you would miss out the whole day in between, though from your feeling you went online each day.
I added a server time display below the info box on the right. Be aware that all date-based limits are reset according to that. Hope that helps.

I rebooted my computer because it was lagging, and after Chrome finished loading all of my pinned tabs, I checked the KofK tab. I had a claim waiting for me, but I can't remember which one. I refreshed the page to make sure my Knuffel stats were updated, and suddenly the claim was gone, and still is. Is it supposed to only appear once and disappear if you refresh/leave the page like the bot tests? It never did that before, so I'm a little concerned. Now I'll be even more behind in my token count, and that makes me unhappy. :(

According to my logs, you have claimed your Tokens for today, so you should not be behind.
