Heh, I have a million things I wanna work on too. Both :D and D:, I guess. ^^; I thiiiink my Fungus drawing is done. I didn't do much since the one I posted. But I'll wait a bit and look at it again in a few hours and see if I still like it. :P

I went to start drawing and decided to attempt to use my tablet..
I never have been able to use it right and the pressure sensitive parts never worked right so I finally got around to getting the driver update for it which I should have done a long time ago. Anyway, it doesn't make my art any better overall but
I can start getting used to the tablet again and dust it off and give it a go
The last couple arts I created just using my mouse I figure I might be a tad better if I had more control over the pressure part..

Honestly I'm not sure if it's better or not..
But I did a good bit of work on the fungus piece and I ended up going
with the daydream theme but changing the surroundings and his position.

He is now in the forest relaxing on a tree daydreaming
I have done the main coloring, line drawing and what not.
I need to add the shading and highlights still..and texture and color the tree.. etc

Frankly when I started drawing with my tablet I couldn't...
it then took me a while to get used to it but once I did I got better.
I started drawing directly on my computer which allowed
me to tweek my drawing as much as I wish while I go along
with it. The main thing that improved though was my lines.
I used to ink my drawings before, and it always came out horrible.
just my paper and Ink made my lines chunky...

With tablet they are crisp though.
CharstarWishes - it looks really nice.
and I think you just need to get used
to your tablet. do you use Photoshop?

I love all the advice..

I am using Photoshop Elements 6 on my iMac now.
I just couldn't afford to get Reg Photoshop.
I used to have reg photoshop on my old PC but the computer died.
I still haven't recovered any of the data on it..
I probably don't need the full photoshop program anyway.
Thou, I would love a full CS suite from adobe.

I have an Associates Degree in Computer Graphics, Graphic Design and Electronic Imaging. It's all one degree.
I wanted to get my 4 year degree too.
I just never finished and ran out of money once I became a mom.

Charstarwishes - aw. I use the latest photoshop. Though
it's not legit. I wish I could have taken classes like you.
Though i'm far from that... not is to certain anymore and
college is on that list. --- I didn't know you were a
mother. How old is your child?

Moi - I like it alot. The eyes look really nice to me.
Though, are you entering it in the contest? because
it is in the kingdom character folder and not contest
entries. Hope you are entering it.
