LOL To each their own.

I went to the zoo today. We have a pair of koalas on loan from another zoo (I forget which one), so I went to see them. Our zoo is very walking intensive. I even took the tram to the African part, but my legs are still really tired from all the walking.

Most zoo where I live are all walking intensive. So I can understand. :}

I was a bit disappointed in the lack of feline species represented at our zoo. We have a pair of tigers and a pair of lions. A sand cat and a black-footed cat. The cheetahs and the serval were not out where they could be seen. Oh, and we have a leopard. Where's the jaguar? And the ocelot? Aren't there a bunch of other wild cats that could be shown, too? I skipped the North American section. I know it had a bobcat, but I don't know about a cougar or a lynx.

Oh, yeah, if you go for big cats, it is a bit disappointing if they don't have a lot of them. :}

Out zoo seems to mainly focus on African and Australian animals. Very little in the way of S. American, Asian, or European animals.

Ah, sorta like when you go to a Wildlands park you should not look for penguins. :}

It gets dark so early now! It's hard to get anything done after work. I don't really like being out in the dark.

I know. And when it is raining most of the days it is twice as hard to get anything done. :}
