You're not. Usually when people write LF it's 'looking for' they mean and not a shopname. The only reason I got that it meant Lunatic Fringe is due to the context... It's quite easily overlooked.

If I can help it I normally always spell stuff out, but some of my friends abbreviate everything. In the beginning I was convinced we spoke a different language . Luckily they never got angry when I didn't get stuff and just asked but I guess it's normal then that I adapted a bit. Now when someone writes something abbreviated I keep it for the duration of the conversation and then write longer again afterwards... It's always best to ask what some abbreviations mean rather than to stay confused.
